Video message recording

Audio is being recorded only with device's microphone.
If I'm using an earphones' mic it is mute on the phone, or with an audio noise on the PC.
The same earphones and mic works normally for the video call and are completely functional.
How are your experiences?

Did you try another pair of headphones? Sometimes that is the problem. Also check security settings and make sure certain apps have mic permissions.

The earphones works normally for other Skype functions. But when recording video message audio is not recorded using the earphones' mic.
So part of Skype app works with the mic, other part not. Not sure what security settings would apply here.
