Video player

The default video player sucks like the damn explorer browser.
If I play a video I can't rewind or forward it only pressing on its buttons that not give much.
There is any way to watch videos on other application then the stupid default one?

VLC is very good. And Windows 10 media player is more slick.

I have VLC but I do I use it instead of the default one when playing videos on browser?
