Just take a screenshot by holding the power and Windows Capacitive button.

With this method the still photo/screenshot comes with video sliding bar and all other information,so the photo /screenshot is not of any use.

Plesse anyone suggest any app or any method to make still photo from video and not a screenshot with video sliding bar ,video timing and zoom button. The screenshot method suggested by dear crash1989 is known to all and not at all related to my post. Thanks in advance.

Tap on the screen to hide the controls and take a screenshot.

In case you want to take a screenshot while capturing a video the only way right now is to record the video and capture screenshots while replaying it.

Please elaborate the situation even more if the above isn't helping

With this method the still photo/screenshot comes with video sliding bar and all other information,so the photo /screenshot is not of any use.

Just try that method first as "crash1989" suggested - there is no sliding bar or any other in a such pic ... and if there is something that you want cut off, just crop it ...

Seriously?! That is it? Take a screenshot? So we get a 720p version or what ever copy of a 1080 recording? I'm going to look into this. I doubt I'll be able to find a way to get full resolution photos from the video, but there has to be a better way than just a screenshot.
