videos and whatsapp

hello there
i got 925 for my mom and she has a complaint that i cant resolve
in whatsapp, only about 15 sec of videos can be sent, i know this is a whatsapp limitation caused by the video size, but even when i chose the lowest video quality in the camera app it doesnt seem to shrink the size to less than 16mb/16sec

any suggestions ?

This is an annoying feature in whatsapp right now! There's no workaround, I'm afraid. You only have to wait till the functionality is available to send the whole video, which I hope will come soon.

cant we decrease the video size ?
because the video size limit is on IOS and andriod aswell, but there you can send 1+min of video

Hi Ahmad,

If you record the video using Whatsapp, you should be able to send that across.

I've found the app "Video Compressor" which is free for use, and I managed to compress a video on the phone and immediately send it. Unfortunately that's the fastest way I've found... I sure hope that Whatsapp would get around to add compression feature to sending videos.
