Hello everyone,

I have developed a Behance client app for Windows Phone named - "View" .
Download now :: View | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

The app has an easy to use interface and plenty of features -
* Explore projects, works in progress, creatives and collections from Behance.
* Simple gestures for sharing the projects and works in progress of creatives.
* Shuffle - searches for the projects based on the projects you explore
* Quiky - lets you add the projects, works in progress, users and collections you like on Behance at a single place.
* Provides you complete access to filter projects, works in progress, collections, etc.
* Browse through a creative's profile, projects, collections, statistics, etc.
* Search by projects, works in progress, users, etc. with many more filters.
* Shows you the Popular Creative Fields

Some screenshots from the app -

The app live in action -

Thanks

Hey!

Though I don't see myself using Behance, I downloaded your app just to see how it was. And may I say, it is gorgeous. The layout, the design, the general way it works.

Very very well done! You should make more apps using the same design language!

:)

Thank you very much.
There is no use of developing such apps. I posted about it on this forum so that it gets featured on WPCentral (Another Behance client app was featured way back in July, and this is the second Behance app in the store). Forget getting featured on WPCentral, you are the only one who cared to download the app and provide feedback.

I wish I could develop more apps like this one (It took me five months to develop this one). The response I got is lukewarm. Sorry.

Hey man, don't give up his yet. It prob has to do with the fact that not a lot of people know about the behance website or are into art as much as we are.
Don't let the initial lukewarm response kill your drive to develop. Who knows, you might develop the next big thing ;-) Might not look good now but who knows what will happen in the future. Thanks for the app. I'm downloading I. Thanks again.

The only thing I wanted was to get this app featured on WPCentral. I think it deserves (even my friends say so).

Anagh,

First of all, congratulations on your launch of View - it is a stunning app. As a fellow WP developer I know the amount of effort it takes to produce a product like this. Do not let the lukewarm reception discourage you. It is not a reflection of the quality of your work. As mentioned by others, Behance may be somewhat specialised and as a result your target public is greatly reduced.

Second, regarding getting a WPC review...god only knows. I use the WPC app every day (several times a day), and I probably find maybe half of the headline articles are of interest. Some of them are just pure rubbish. At times it feels like they don't have enough to write about, while top-notch apps like View go unnoticed. Someone should come up with a "Hidden Gems" app list to showcase the fine work of independent developers.

Third, while it nice to get public acknowledgement for your work, realise you've just added a might fine app to your portfolio, which I am sure will pay dividends in the future.

Keep up the good work. Rating your app now...

Cheers,

Ron

Thanks Ron,

You are right. I should not care about the lukewarm response and getting it featured on WPC. (Most of the headlines are truly rubbish)

Thanks again. :)
Regards,
Anagh

I'm planning on giving it a try. Have you considered a more descriptive title and icon? At first glance it doesn't seem to have much to do with Behance, which is good for copyright infringement but not so great for recognition.

I wanted my app to stand out. I'll take care of this in future. Thanks.
