VLC for Windows 8 Status

I heard that VLC passed the certification in the beginning of this month. Anybody know the status?

VLC for Windows 8 passes Microsoft's certification but without its audio output - Neowin

Yeah, They passed the certification but in process lose the audio. They are trying to fix it now and then they will do a beta with backers.
