Voice to Text and Voice Search

I'm using a Lumia 800 and recently I've notice when I try to use voice search or voice to texts the phone just sits there thinking (making that searching sound). No results ever come up and it will continue to hang in that thinking state until I hit the windows home button. Provider is Telus and I'm using the phone in Canada. Anyone else having this issue? Seems to me that it only started doing it around the time MS released Cortona.

Usually that is due to a network issue. Voice to text is generally computed online not locally on the phone. I'd suggest making sure data is on or the phone is connected to WiFi.
