VR ready or not?

Does anyone know if the Studio 2 is compatible with common VR headsets? HTC Vive or Oculus Rift? Microsoft says VR ready but when asked directly they don't seem to have an answer.

Honestly: doesn't help. First of all, I wouldn't be asking if I already had one. So I can't run these tests. Secondly, I know the 1060 and the 1070 are VR-ready - the problem being Microsoft's implementation of the graphics output. On the SB2, for example, VR headsets can't directly tap into the dedicated GPU via a USB-C to HDMI adapter, making it impossible to use VR with it.

Microsoft isn't willing to actually answer the question whether that's the case with the Studio 2 as well. There's a thread in Microsoft Communities that has remained unanswered by Microsoft. An employee indicated that he'd be checking - that was several months ago and he never came back.

Well hopefully someone with a Studio 2 will come along soon and be able to help. :)
