W10 January Tech Preview via Windows Update is too slow

I tried to upgrade Windows 8.1 to 10 via Windows update but the download speed is too slow

1. This was just released yesterday so everyone is trying to get it and the servers are being slammed.
2. You are not downloading a single file through update services. This is pretty much 4 gigs of compressed file data that gets compiled in to the installation media on your system. Definitely not something you want to sit and watch. If you want to the files are downloaded to the windows/prefetch folder. All in all It took me about 3 hours yesterday to download, compile, install and get to the log in screen once 9926 was installed and this was on an I7 with 8 gigs of ram. My home computer was much quicker but I downloaded the iso from Microsoft here: Download Windows 10 Technical Preview ISO - Microsoft Windows
