Hey guys

I just bought a nokia lumia 520 and i was wondering that i cannot install my own wallpaper on the home screen, how can i do it plz help me out guys!!

You can't. You either have a white or black background.

You can do this on the lock screen, though.

If you do feel the need to change the theme, it's under settings>theme
To change the lock screen, settings>lock screen

No one's hacked Windows Phone 8 yet, so it's not possible yet.

Besides, as far as I know, it doesn't make any sense. You can't see most of the wallpaper (unless you only have a few small tiles pinned), and most of the time, it may as well clash with the theme and your tile layout.
Plus, Windows Phone is minimalistic. I still hope that you'd end up enjoying your 520.

U cannot.. as Windows phone is not hacked yet.. u cannot find paid apps for free... But u can get alternative apps... just search through the store...

you can try skinery tiles or tiles for a similar effect. give a nice touch to the interface
