If YOU don't get what the surface is, then go home. A tablet doesn't have a digitizer with pen/ink capabilities. The surface isn't a tablet, it isn't a laptop,.. IT'S SOMETHING NEW. And I LOVE IT. If you don't get it and don't think it's worth the money then don't get one. But it shouldn't be your mission in life to tell me or anyone else not to get one. The pen is HUGE, I paint a lot in fresh paint, it's night and day difference between using a surface pro and a regular surface without the pen.
