Waze or here drive? Which is better?

I prefer HERE...I find myself wanting to play with Waze too much for driving; Look to see who's around me, "Like" the warnings, put warnings in, etc.

It's all helpful stuff, but too much going on for me to pay attention to the road.

I don't know about waze, but Here can have offline maps, so if waze can't Here is definitely better. I'd get both to try each out, I think in most cases, actually using the apps is more useful than reading feedback about them.

For daily commutes when I am more interested about traffic conditions: Waze.
For long drives where I actually need directions: Here.

Here! No question... The only reason you would use Waze is if Here was no longer available :P

HERE, Waze is nice but drains your battery.

waze drain has been fixed, for long routes I use here. For short routes waze as it doesn't interfere with my podcasts every other minute, " *mute* turn here, *unmute* *mute* turn here ..." it would be awesome if they'd pause and play instead of mute, though that'd be bad for streaming live, give me the option to pick mute or pause in settings.

I've never used Here Drive but Waze has always given me some problems to be honest. I'm either getting too much unneeded information and get distracted or it lags just enough to get me lost...

also it uses data and not the built in maps even when downloaded.

+1 for Waze for local routes. I hope that they will bring the WP up to level of the versions that they have for Android/iOS soon.
