Windows Central Question

I distribute a monthly newsletter to members of a club for which I serve as secretary. This month's publication is a four-page document (PDF) which contains one small picture and is 298KB. I have attempted to send it four times and each time receive an error message stating, "We weren't able to send this message, so we've put it in your Drafts folder. Before you try sending it again, you can check to see if the address is correct and that no attachments are too large." I have sent larger documents literally hundreds of times in the past without problems. I have re-booted my computer but the issue continues. I am running Windows 10 (and have been for a long time). Please advise what might be causing this problem and how to best resolve it! Thank you!

Welcome to Windows Central.

What email program are you using? Windows Mail, Outlook, webmail (outlook.com, Gmail, something from your ISP), Exchange?

I am having this identical problem - just started recently, but I can't think of anything that has changed. I am running Outlook on my Surface Pro and it is telling me

"We weren't able to send this message, so we've put it in your Drafts folder. Before you try sending it again, you can check to see if the address is correct and that no attachments are too large." There is no attachment and the email consisted of a pasted link, that's all.

HELP - it's getting painfully frustrating!
