I purchased a 1520 from HK a few weeks ago and I can barely get one bar of signal now on my phone. I tried to do some research to find if the sim unlocked international phone from HK is compatible on the UK networks and it seemed to be. If I go in to any building the signal drops out completely so I am left without voice or data inside. And outside it may reach up to two bars.
I used to own a 920 which had fantastic signal on the same network. So I am wondering if I have a dodgy phone or if the one I purchased will be bad anywhere in the UK?
I have tried to set it from 4G (which I don't get where I live) to 3G and also set the network operator manually and not keep it on automatic but nothing has helped.
