Weather Channel App stuck in wrong location

I did a little traveling over the weekend and now the Weather app is stuck on a location 600 miles from my home location ??

Any ideas?

I did try a battery pull.

What device, and is it LTE or not? I've seen this when on LTE (AT&T), and switching to 4G resolved the issue (AT&T has LTE location issues).

If you're using the Nokia Weather Channel app click on the location icon on the bottom of the main screen and make sure you have the right default location. Also, make sure you have the correct live tile pinned. You can pin multiple locations.

I might be talking about the wrong app, but my Nokia Lumia Weather Channel App won't let me change the default location from Tokyo, and I really don't care to see the Tokyo weather.

has anyone noticed that this app seems to be getting slower? Like it takes a long time to serve up data. Also the live tile has become hit and miss on updates.

The weather channel app would not let me save my town as my default location. Uninstalled it and now I'm using Microsoft's weather app.

I think this app is due for an update, or at least some tinkering with the back end servers to pull data faster so it works more smoothly.

I've decided not to worry about the default location. I pinned my home location and that seems to work fine. Hopefully the app will be fixed soon so you can actually make your location your default location.
