Weather on Lock Screen

I set my phone up for the weather to show up on the lock screen but it doesn't is this because of the IRIS scanner?

I guess I could turn it off to see if it makes a difference.

I think any app that was made for W8.1 that had lock screen features don't currently work. Unfortunately this includes MS weather. It was my favorite lock-screen.... either MS will make W10 compatible with app lock screen features or developers will have to update their apps for 10. I'm hoping the former rather than the latter.

accuweather works on the lock screen. That's what i set up during insider preview when I realized the MS weather app didn't work
