Weird Battery drain issue.

I set my phone down with 80% battery and didn't touch it for about 2 hours. All of a sudden I hear the low battery noise and I pick up my phone and It is really hot. This is the second time that this has happened and its really weird because I block everything from running the back round. Anyone know why my phone is doing this?

mine gets super hot when playing games and drains the battery from 100% to 0 in about an hour. So your not the only one with your phone getting hot

Yeah everybody's phone gets warm when they play games, but my phone got hot while I wasn't even using it, and I had nothing in the back round running at all.

Sounds like a rogue app that may have been hung up. Usually a restart will clear ram/cache and take care of the problem. I would concentrate on recent apps that you've downloaded.
