A few months ago I began bench presses with 10 pounds per hand (dumbbells) - 5 sets of 10 reps each - and these were challenging workouts. I have progressed to 40 pounds per hand and this workout is no longer challenging. I remember a trainer telling me "if it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you".. so I guess it's time to go buy heavier weight plates. Road trip! :grin:
