I don't know if anyone has mentioned this anywhere, but I stopped by the AT&T store today and they had a 1520 on display. It's huge! Anyway, the card read: "Retail Price $419.99". I asked the associate there four times "so when I come back on the 22nd I can buy the phone outright for $419.99" and they said yes. I see that website says $584.99 so I guess they misprinted the card? I foolishly didn't think to take a picture of it.

Good luck! I see an "Amazon" price change happening when you go to buy it.

My guess is that it'll be changed on or before the 22nd. That'd be a huuuuge boo-boo for that particular store. That was probably their buy price rather than their sell price.

I was hoping I could go back and preorder/pay for it and pick it up on the 22nd but it doesn't look like they allow that. I'm going back to the store tonight to take a picture, I hope it doesn't change in the next 11 days.

I really don't see the logic behind paying $449 for a 1 year contract
just shell out the extra $100 and be done with it

Haven't had any luck buying a newly released phone at AT&T at full retail. They want to keep them for new lines and upgrades. Have you had a different experience?

I had try two different stores, but I bought the Lumia 900 on release day at full retail. I have bought other phones on or near release day at full retail, as well.

Okay so I went back today and took pics. Definitely says $419.99. Afterwards I went to the store across the street and their card said the correct price of $584.99. I'm definitely going back on the 22nd to buy it and when they scan it and it comes up the correct price they better price match!

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't att legally have to honor that price since you have a picture in their store?

Is there some sort of discount "full retail" price for people on NEXT?
No, I thought maybe it was some NEXT pricing but that's not the case.

I have no idea but just in case I took a picture of it on all the Lumias on display in that row, took a video on the 1520, have a pic on my phone, and had the associate write the price on a business card. :)

If they aren't actually selling and you're not actually buying, they have a right to change the price, and it's not "in stock" and hasn't been in stock or even sold yet,
if it were and they were selling it, it would be another issue, but in some states there is more leeway ( in favor of the seller) so "it depends"

Lol, this is the price for the 925. I bet that's what they confused it with.
