What App to use with Windows 10 ? For my chrome Cast?

I want to cast my own photos ,videos from my laptop, toshiba, with Windows 10, to my tv. Chrome cast plug is is installed and works in conjunction with my

the casting is built in to windows 10 just select your media right click and hit cast to. I havent had much luck getting it to cast to my xbox one yet not sure why but i just started playing around with it this morning . Im wondering if theres a better app for casting because its not seeming to work too well on my windows 10 tablet
