what has happened my sound

today I upgraded my windows laptop from windows 7 to windows 10 ever since my sound has been distorted and fuzzy as well as my quality of footage (e.g. videos on youtube) freezing and skipping I have beats sound on my laptop and nothing has been changed I would love to know what has happened ever since I restarted my computer

Have you checked the laptop manufacturer's website for updated sound card drivers?
