Nope, the preview will be x86 only as far as I know. We'll have to wait for the other platforms. I guess there will be a WP10 DP at some point.
x86 only ? No x64![]()
There was no 32 bit Windows 8.
I have read it's one ISO for all platforms, each activated with an activation key. Windows has only been 64 bit from Win 7 64 forward. There was no 32 bit Windows 8.
The Atom tablets run 32-bit Windows 8.x. While Atom's may be x64 capable, they're typically given a x86/32-bit install for whatever reason. (Source: My Dell)
though i think if you get a vanilla windows 8 64bit iso from digitalriver, you can use the official oem product key for the 32bit install already in your system to install 64bit instead
my concern then becomes driver compatibility
Yaa It will be compatible my spare PC which have Pentium dual core whose last supported drivers by Intel was windows 7 works like charm in windows 10Win8.1 drivers will be compatible with Win10 so far (not sure though).
