What is the latest update for Windows 10 Mobile 1607?

UPDATE: Sorry, misread your post. You're at least 1 behind as 14393.2431 was released mid August. I don't think there was a new one this month but I'm not 100% sure.

I won't update my phone to 1709 because maps won't work. I will be sticking to 1607 only hence I wanted to know which was the last latest update to Windows 10 Mobile 1607? To make sure that I've got the very latest update of 1607.

So is this the last and latest update to 1607 or is Microsoft going to release updates to 1607?

Don't know if it's the last 1607 build, it's already on extended support. Microsoft usually rolls out these updates on the evening of the second tuesday every month, so will have to see if 1607 receives another build on the 9th of oct. Updates have been occasionally been delayed however. At the moment 10.0.14393.2485 is the most recent one, I got that one on the 11th of sept on my lumia 925 which I keep on AU because of maps and Bluetooth issues on later builds on x2x series of devices.

Are you able to download speech? Because I am not able to download English (UK) and English (US) speech.

Ohhhhh that's why the Maps on my 920 is weird... It's an actual issue, I thought it would be just me

Sorry, haven't tried speech download just have the 925 updated as in spare device, I use my 950xl as my daily driver.

But are you able to download speech in your 950xl?

Yes people report problems with rendering of streets in maps and Bluetooth issues after hard reset on creators and fall creators update on these unsupported phones but Anniversary Update works ok if you fix the missing glance files (if you need a working glance screen)

Just tried and it worked on the 950xl. Had English US installed and I added English GB. Was a long process, had to click on status and got a few questions about download and after that gears started spinning phone restarted, migrating data, similar to what happens when you get a new Windows update.

Oh! Ok, in mine it is failing to download don't know why & i cannot even remove it from the list. But it successfully downloaded & installed new update to 1607.

I remember WinCentral once made a video about a cshell version of Windows 10 mobile on an HP elitex3. That was a preview build which Microsoft released accidentally just for a few hours. As far as I found out in the Internet WinCentral were the only once who were fast enough to download it. Do you guys know whether there is any download link for the iso of that specific build?
