Where do you think prices of the following products need to be in order to be succesful?
1. Windows RT Tablets
2. Low power (Atom, AMD) tablets/convertables
3. Hi power Core i series tabs/converts?
I think it should be as follows:
1. $299-$350 for base model (16-32 gig, lowest allowed resolution and features) and up to $500-$600 for high capacity, feature rich devices
2. $400-$600 for devices spec'd similarly to netbooks currently selling from $299-$499
3. Simiar to Ultrabooks, perhaps slightly more to accomedate the added tech and complexity that comes with the tablet and convertable form factors, so starting at $700ish (since ultrabooks start at about $599 now) up to $1500+ for the ultra high end models.
