Hi,

I'm currently using HD7, and would love to get Titan2. But I'm really concerned about the
irreplaceable battery design. Right now I have two batteries for my HD7, which I would
say is necessary.

I wonder what should happen if Titan 2 battery goes bad? Can it still be replaced by
authorized technician? Would HTC replace the phone if it still under warranty?
What will happen if it's not under the warranty any more?

I really don't understand why manufacturers follow this bad iphone design.
Batteries go bad more often than not. And they will go bad sooner or later.
Why used irreplaceable battery?

It is covered under the 1 year manufacturer warranty... anything after that, we're SOL.

Really.. would an authorized technician be able to open and replace the battery?

I have two for my HD7, but not even a year, one is already going bad.

I guess no one is having a battery issue yet for Titan2 since it's so new.

i'm sure it can be cracked open and a new one installed. Really I think they just glued the back on, the main phone body is the same...it is a drawback though, something that made me pause about the 900. I think my Titan battery is getting weaker, but I have the option to put a bigger battery in it at least.
