I always liked to use the Glitter ringtone. I have a hearing impairment and tend to have trouble hearing my phone when it rings from another room or in my bag. But the Glitter ringtone worked great for me! I'm now using a Sony Xperia Z tone I downloaded on ZEDGE.

I make my own ringtones using Audacity to shorten audio files to ringtone length and then I add them to my device.

I read about nostalgia but I also read that earlier Windows Phones didn't repeat the ringtone and it was too short. I'm not sure if ringtones repeat in version 8, but I'm using Lucky Five now. It seems plenty loud and long but somehow I missed another call today. I'm starting to get suspicious about whether it's actually ringing at all. It worked when I tested it but IDK... Maybe I'll try a case that fits on my belt so it won't be enclosed in my pocket.
