WhatsApp push notification stop working.

WhatsApp notification stop working on my Lumia 635. Messages only got pushed through when I open the app.

Anyone experiencing same issue?

It happens every now and then - usually clears itself after a while.

Problem is your connection, battery saver etc. No problem with whatsapp itself

It's not my connections. I'm on 4G data and high speed fiber optic for Wi-Fi. I have no problem getting push notifications from other apps.

Try reinstalling, check battery saver, you might turn off background task for whatsapp maybe.

Thanks. I fixed it. Basically I turned off my phone, removed the battery for an hour. And set it back up. Somehow it works.

I tried switching off and on for a few minutes and that didn't helped.

What you did = Soft Reset.

Try holding, power+vol. Down. buttons for 10secs. And the device will perform soft reset.
