When Cortana gives you a reminder, why doesn't she speak out loud?

No reason why reminders should be a simple 'beep' when Cortana is capable of speech. When I have an alarm, Cortana could easily be programmed to say "Wake up, it's time for work"

Because you might be in a situation where that would be inappropriate, it's the same when you type things into Cortana as well.
