When I try to share a printer on Windows 10, it asks for Network Credentials on the machine without the printer. What does it want?

Did the link above work? Is the PC without the printer on the same network? It sounds like there are network or user credentials needed to connect to the printer.

Have you tried using your sign in credentials? That is the username and password you use when you first sign in to the computer after start up or when it is locked. It may be that your network requires you to be an admin on the PC, or have other restrictions on installing new software on the PC.

As an addition to this, if it does want your user credentials, it may be that you are not typing them correctly. It may not be just your standard username and password for your own laptop. You would need to include the network name as well as your username so that Windows can check that your laptop is on the same network and authenticate you.

A screenshot of the login box (remove anything like your network name) could be useful to help us with this.
