Same question from me too. I'm guessing the OP is taking about the "proper" update, not the developer preview, which most of us know is already available.

International Business Times have stated (on Sept 23rd) that it's already here, But I just manually checked my N930 and got the message that it's "already up to date".

I have 8.1, the update is officially Update 1. If the report is accurate it should not be too long now. It's been so long I had forgotten about it to be honest.
