When we get Lumia denim update

Today Ms announced Lumia denim will be available in q4 of 14...only 3 months remaining before 2015 can we expect updates before that?

Looks like the 930/Icon and 1520 will be the ones getting the Denim firmware update this year. Other phones 'subject to carrier approval'..

Nope the update is for all Lumias but will have more effects on the 1520/930, while the new glance feature should be available for Lumia devices supporting glance

Well they said that some Lumias will get Denim "soon" (Lumia Icon/930 and Lumia 1520) and the rest will get Denim on Q4-2014! My guess is next week for the former and the rest in Q4.

It's funny how they have announced Lumia Denim for quarter 4 release and some of us ( T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 925 & 521) don't even have Cyan yet! Maybe they'll just bypass cyan and go straight for Denim or we'll get Cyan in December and denim in June 2015.

I'm hoping that's a sign that MS is moving towards NOT letting carriers hold up future releases. I mean why would the carriers let the updates go straight from MS to THEIR customer's 1520'w, etc UNLESS there is something different in their contract with MS regrading those newer models?

Carriers will still be able to customize for their phones but they will need to release them by the time MS rolls out the generic version to everyone.

Actually it's almost four full months 26 days in September and three full months. I would think it will be rolling out sometime before Thanksgiving Day here in the US

Can't wait for the update for my Lumia 635...live start folders will be a treat, and I believe I heard something about updates and improvments to the Music app...
