When will my Lumia 822 get the software update?

lumia 822 software update

want to update lumia 822 phone to windows 8.1 software, how can I do this without verizon wireless...my phone carrier won't allow it, cause it won't update....but its compatible according to microsoft on this phone..

Use the Windows Phone software recovery. It should install the 8.1.1/Denim combo on your 822.
