Where’s Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far for Xbox?

I am genuinely excited to see Xbox fans getting Kingdom Hearts 3 next year, but it has been bugging me to no end You can’t also play the first two games there. PlayStation fans have gotten multiple re-releases on the games, including an HD pack of all the games just this week, but because licensing or whatever that same experience can’t or won’t come to Xbox.

It seems like obvious money left on the table, you know? There are going to be people on Xbox who have never played these games before, and would totally fall in love with the franchise in time for 3 to come out. Instead, I’m a little concerned the Xbox audience isn’t going to give it the love it deserves because so many won’t want to start so late in the story.

These two comments describe me. I was excited to hear about KH coming to XB. Never played it, and have always wanted to.

I'm inclined to agree. I will bring up a taboo subject (emulation) and I think Sony and Nintendo would make money hand over fist if they sold an emulator app/program on the online store and opened up the games to be downloaded.

I’m a little concerned the Xbox audience isn’t going to give it the love it deserves because so many won’t want to start so late in the story.

Sadly, I can see this happening. Especially if this is a story based game, and important pieces of plotlines are mentioned in 3 that reference 1 and 2. This might be a case of too little too late.
