Where are my folders name not visible?

This was working fine earlier but for someone reason my file names don't show up under them. But when I hover over them they show up. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I'm not exactly sure why you can't see the file names under them anymore. But if it's only on the desktop just change the background.

Also if you want to keep your background, press the Windows key + S and type "systempropertiesperformance" (no quotes) and find the option that says something like "enable shadows under text on desktop" and you'll be good
