Where do I find my downloaded attachment?

I download the attachment, but I cannot find it anywhere.

PDF - with PDF app
Office doc - with Office hub
Image/Video - Camera hub
Other image/video - with that app

It's the best answer.

E.g. download a PDF using IE. Go into the Files app into Downloads and wow, there is the downloaded PDF. Same with other files.

The PDF is saved in the app. You won't find it on the phone. You need to open it with MS PDF, upload it to Onedrive then download it to have it on the phone.
Doc files are in the Office Hub (Office).

If you didn't open the file from email then they are nowhere.

When I click on a PDF i get two options. Save or open. If I save, it saves to Downloads.

Now I do have the Microsoft and Adobe PDF reads installed. Not sure if that makes the difference.
