Where does the Windows Phone app (8.1) save photos on my PC?

Have just returned with my new Lumia 930 and used the Windows Phone app for Windows 8.1 to save my photos onto my PC.

But I cannot figure out where it has saved them! There is no setting I can find to direct where to save my photos.

I see that on the phone itself there is an option to upload them to OneDrive. Which I haven't done.

I'd appreciate all help as to how save AND sync photos between my phone and my PC and/or OneDrive.

Thanks.

In my case, the Photos that are both synced and saved by my Windows Phone App for Desktop in Pictures* > From [name of your phone]. For example, mine are in Pictures* > From gpobernardo 1020.

Also, you can change the default save location of your Photos in the Windows Phone app for Desktop. You can find it under PC > Photos > Add or remove folders. A popup window will appear displaying a list of folders; context menu clicking on any of those folders will give you the option to make it the default save location.

* - This refers to the default Pictures folder of your PC/laptop. I have purposely changed the name of this default folder (and the other folders, such as Documents, Videos, Downloads) to omit the word "My", but the functionality will not change.
