No, I didn't lose or forget my password. BUT this forum did temporarily.
After clearing all cookies for the first time in years, I expected to go thru sign on pages for many sites that previously logged on automatically via some combination of cookies and my password manager. But my userid/password were rejected for these forums. I decided the quickest "fix" would be to click on a lost password link on the forum sign in page. Well, there wasn't any such link on the sign on page or anywhere else I could find while not logged on. By some miracle, the problem resolved itself and my current userid and password work again.
But I would like to know where/how anyone can request a password reset in case it is ever actually needed. I'm talking Windows PC browser access.
