I want this phone so bad! Does anyone know of a place to get this phone in the U.S.? And if possible, a place that does payment plans for the phone? Thanks in advance.

It is not available in the US.

Well, you can buy a Lumia Icon, and be tied to Verizon. (not recommended)
You'll have to look at probably online retailers and otherwise import it.

Well you can use an Icon as a GSM phone (likely no MMS or tethering) but then your firmware updates are at VZW's mercy and it doesn't look pretty.

Rumor has it that Microsoft is looking for another carrier for another exclusive contract for the 930! They just do not want to sell it like the iPhone on their online website or in their retail stores - unlocked and with all the radios to all the carriers. They are so, so dependent on the carriers to sell their phones but the sales associates turn the potential buyers to Samsung or iPhone users! Microsoft is so stupid!

I got one from Expansys. Works fine on AT&T, just be aware that you'll not get LTE, but will get HSPA+ which is fine with me.
Everything else worked fine.

Over here in the UK you can pick up a unlocked sim free 930 & stick any mobile network sim in & it will work. My network operator doesn't even sell 930's but it works perfectly fine on there 4G network. The US always has to be odd one out with exclusive carrier branded phones, its about time the US joined the rest of the civilized world.
