Which laptops should i consider buying that can handle multitasking & all soft wares and games also.

I want a laptop that can handle multi tasking smoothly and run software like MATLAB Xilinx other CAD tools without a hitch .Also able to run games like COD GTA Resident evil and others at normal settings and little bit of video editing sometimes.
