Impossible to send text messages! HELP!

As i have been browsing through WC,found a few topics on the HUGE problem that i have. And i mean HUGE,cuz if i can not find a solution, provided that somebody here can help me,i need to through my phone it in the garbage.
I can no longer send text messages.NEVER! Some people are having sometimes problems. Not me,i never can send them. Here is what i did to improve my situation and find a solution.
Soft reset.Nothing happened.Hard reset + Software update using Lumia Software Recovery Tool (and i finally got my Cortana-did not have it before).Cortana is nice, but it's not helping my issue at all.Very sad.
I can receive text messages ,but i can not send them. The error message is "Try again". I keep retrying, nothing happens.Yes my signal bar is full.Yes i tried from different locations. In different days now...it's been like 4 days.I even talked to my provider,Vodafone. At there end everything is all good.Something is wrong with my phone.
Nokia Lumia 920
OS version:8.10.12393.890
Firmware revision number: 3051.50009.1424.0007
Hardware revision number: 6.5.0.4
Chip SOC version: 8960
Radio software version: 1.0.202184.3
extras+info
Lumia Cyan
Manufacturer name
RM-821_eu_euro2_224
Core build: 3051.50009.1424.10362
--------
And Another thing. Before hardware reset,i did a backup of my data and system settings.it also included games and high scores etc.Yeah....not so much. After reinstall ,it auto installed all my apps-games back, but i have no more high scores, and all my unlocks and game achievements are completely missing.Man i played so hard on some of those games...
But i don't care about that right now. I just need my text messages capability back, working as it was before!
Please Help me!

You may find this Microsoft FAQ Page useful. Be sure to check the SMS centre number with Vodafone - it might have been mistakenly changed.

In addition to the FAQ Page, you may want to have your SIM Card checked/replaced (especially if it already more than a couple of years old). A section of the T-Mobile Troubleshooting Page suggests this.

Alright.Talked to the Vodafone people again. My problem seems to have an easy fix. In the Messaging - Settings. SMS center number is the one for subscription. Now i have transferred with the same number to pay credit. This happened like about 4 days ago. So what i need to do is change that number with the new one they gave me.
The thing is that option is grayed out. How do i get permission to change that number ? Is there something that i need to change in the phone settings in order to change the sms center number ?
Could this bee a sim card problem?

I see. I am not aware of a simple toggle that would enable (or disable) editing the SMS center number. Based on these sources (a comment in this article and this this thread), it seems to be related with WiFi calling being enabled. Try disabling WiFi calling if you have it enabled. It also seems that hard-resetting the phone is a hit-or-miss gamble, so I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Since the SMS center number is "greyed out", you can try using your SIM card in a different phone and test sending an SMS there. If it works, then your SIM card is fine.

The best solution is to go to a Vodafone store/service center/customer service branch and have them directly look at your phone settings.

Call Vodafone, give them the model of phone and ask them to send you a "service message". Open the SMS, read it, delete it and restart phone.

Service messages contain all the settings for APN's, service centre settings etc.

I'm surprised you didn't think to contact them first, after all they are your service provider.

Solved

Thank you everybody for your input.I have sold the problem. All i had to do is change the sms center number. I coden't do it on my phone.I had to insert my sim card to another phone, changed it there.and put the sim back in my phone. All is good!
------- Off topic:
Disappointed cuz no game unlocks were saved when i backed up my data. After the new hard reset i set the region Unitated State, this allowed for Cortana to be available for my phone, also something interesting happened. Some xBox games that cost euros, now there free usisng the US region setting on my phone. I think i will stick to this region considering i have some advantages.Sad that in my country these apps and games cost money.
Richard i did contact Vodafone first. You did not read my first post carefully.
thank you again gpobernardo
