Why am I unable to receive POP3 emails on my Nokia Lumia 520?

I am unable to receive POP3 emails on my Nokia Lumia 520

Hi, I have just bought the above phone after my Blackberry died. I have tried and initially was successful in setting up the phone to receive emails from my personal email.
I am now receiving the following message, regardless that I have deleted the account, re-entered the account and I'm at a loss:

Message reads:
'Not updated"
We're having a problem downloading messages. Make sure you have a connection and your account information is correct, the try again. Error code: 80072F30"

I have entered information again and again, to no avail. Any suggestions?
