Why can I not get Word to set up on Window 10

Every time I got to reactivate WORD 2016 it will not let me, instead a message comes up that I have to go into Windows Internet Explorer first. How do I do that?

I'm not sure what you're trying to explain.

Does this happen when you are installing office or when you are trying to open word?
