Why can I send e-mails but not receive them?

I can send e-mails but not receive them.

When I go into email+acounts the message is 'not up to date' with an error code on talktalk error of 80048830

If it's not your primary account delete it and add it again.
Or open the account op your PC to check if you have a "strange" email if so delete it and try again on your phone after sync.
And check if date and time are correct.
