Why can't I access WP Rooms from a desktop PC?

I love Windows 8.1, and WP 8.1, but how effed up is it that I can't use them together?

but hey, MS may have resources, but they can't do everything, I doubt thats a high priority for many

Well, they do have limited resources and priorities, Id say that's as legitimate as you can get.
