Why can't I change the sound level while I am playing music or video?

I cannot change sound level while I am playing music or video

Hi, I have HTC 8S and I like it so much except some of problems. I have cleared lot of problems but now I have one of them which I couldn't beat it.

So my problem is that when I play music or video, I cannot change sound level. I have used ring bell buttons, numbers are changed but sound did'nt change. So I tried something, For example I closed music or video then decreased volume and again start music and it works but I cannot change it while it is playing..

Is there anyone who have a idea ?

I fixed my problem with restarting my phone. But I still don't know what was the problem. I think It is one of the bug.

It happened to me couple of times but only when using headphones. Unplugging and plugging those back in would fix the problem without restart.

It happens to me occasionally too. I try shutting down the music app and opening the podcast app or the TuneIn Radio app and then going back to the music app. Doesn't always work though.
