Why can't I connect to my wifi after a software update?

cannot connect to my wi-fi after a software update

my phone software was updated yesterday, but now it says it cannot connect to my wi-fi. Does not come up with a password request

Go to wifi setting >manage delete from known wifi. Connect again it will ask for password.
