Why can't I get onto the internet with giffgaff?

Cant get on to internet with giffgaff

I have just bought a windows 640xl lte. I can get on the wifi at home and work, and do other stuff etc. However, i cant connect to the internet away from the WFI. I go to settings, mobile and sim, view internet APN, and its a dark screen with nothing on it. Go to SIM settings, to try to do it manually using the codes etc from giffgaff, the screen stops, and then just goes back to the beginning. Its like it doesnt like it. I have asked giffgaff but not getting any help there at all!!! Does anyone have any idea ??? Many thanks Emma

Make sure vpn and Static IP is off also
