Why can't I launch the Windows Store on my Surface 3?

I cannot launch windows store on my surface 3

I have a surface 3 and have upgraded to windows 10. For some reason, the windows store cannot be launched. Or more accurately, I click on the icon and the app flashes as if it is launching, but then disappears. Any thoughts on why and how to fix
