Try restarting your phone?
Try deleting and re installing whatsapp on your phone?
If this doesnt works then Connect your phone to a pc, in your phone or sd card there must be a folder called whatsapp backup or something like that. Copy it to your pc and delete it from your phone. When whatsapp opens reput The file to your phone

Did you install it on your internal memory of the phone or on a SD card? It should be on the internal memory.
Do you see the app in the app list?
Uninstall it and install it again.

If above does not work please register and reply on this post with some more detail.

Open any website with IE/Edge. That should fix the time issue, then try opening WhatsApp again (I had this problem last year, twice)
