why do my bluetooth on my headphone, cut off and on

I bought a refurbished encore 2, it works fine but the Bluetooth to my head phone, cuts out, off and on. I like my music, so I bought another one, brand new and it has the same problem

is this for a phone or pc? Check for OS updates and if on pc, also check for driver updates for bluetooth and the headphone
